Kathleen and Charlie met in the fall of 2022, while Kathleen was living in Halifax and Charlie in Charlottetown. Despite the distance, they quickly began spending every weekend together (and weekday evenings and mornings Facetiming!). From the get go, they relished their long chats, walking Archie, picking up lattes together, and getting to know one another deeply.

By June of 2023, Kathleen had packed her bags and moved to Charlottetown. They quickly fell into their own cozy rhythm in their one-bedroom apartment. They treasured their beach walks at Blooming Point (with Archie of course!), cooking delicious meals together, going for runs "as a family" and creating their own little life.

In the spring of 2025, they moved into their home. Archie was thrilled that he now had his own backyard! Kathleen gardened and Charlie supported all of her garden centre trips by building many flower boxes, her dream arch, and a picket fence. It was an idyllic summer. In August, the cherry on top was a walk at Blooming Point, Archie in tow, and Charlie getting down on one knee.

Kathleen and Charlie (and Archie!) are over the moon to say "I do" and begin the next chapter of their life together. They so look forward to celebrating with you in August 2026!
